Individual Volunteering – Plastic Recycling | European Solidarity Corps

📣𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 & 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐬!

Help tackle plastic pollution and protect Syros’s marine ecosystems, coastal areas, and public spaces. Take part in collecting, sorting, and processing plastic waste using our Precious Plastic machines, and in transforming it into new, functional objects. As part of the activity, you will also support workshops, educational programs, and community events to address plastic pollution and promote sustainability.

😎We are looking for motivated young people (18–30 years old) who wish to experience and contribute to community life, sustainability and hands-on ecological work. No previous experience is required, only curiosity, openness and a willingness to learn by doing.

🏡Participants will be hosted at Apano Meria’s Research Base in the port town of Ermoupoli, sharing accommodations with fellow volunteers. The base offers shared rooms, a common kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a garden, and communal living areas. The organisation will provide all meals and transportation to outdoor activities.
